SOMERVILLE, MA (December 8th, 2022)—Rental Beast, the leading real estate technology firm with an end-to-end SaaS platform empowering more than 650,000 real estate professionals to manage and market rental properties, today announced that rental listing syndication to Zumper.com is now available to Rental Beast’s REALTOR® Association and Multiple Listing Service (MLS) partners.
Rental Beast, which was recently endorsed as the exclusive real estate software provider recommended by the National Association of REALTORS®, integrates its lead-to-lease platform with Multiple Listings Services (MLSs) and REALTOR®Associations throughout North America, including six of the ten largest MLSs and Associations in the United States. Participating member-subscribers are provided with direct access to thousands of owner-sourced rental listings not typically found within any MLS, along with essential functions to better add, manage, and monetize the rental market directly within their Association website or MLS platform.
By marketing residential rentals to Zumper, one of the fastest-growing consumer platforms in North America, members of partner REALTOR® Associations and MLSs now have the option to securely syndicate rental listings from their MLS to Zumper’s seven million monthly visitors via Rental Beast’s premium platform, Rental Beast Pro, extending the benefit of Zumper’s extensive reach to member-subscribers, while tapping into a targeted and rent-ready user base with enormous lead generation potential.
With rising interest rates and a severe shortage of homes for sale, more than 113 million Americans are living in rentals today—the highest percentage in more than 55 years. At the same time, with rental rate increases slowing versus the pace of inflation, landlords and property managers are actively seeking new and more efficient ways to maximize exposure of their vacancies, including listing available rental properties with their local MLS.
While historically speaking, marketing rental inventory through a local MLS has been an intensely manual and time-consuming process, Rental Beast’s integrated platform simplifies the listing upload process while automating marketing distribution for millions of properties, including Zumper. Through Rental Beast’s proprietary “claim listings” process, listing agents and property managers can add rental listings directly from their property management system, eliminating the barrier of manual listing entry into MLS platforms. Adoption of the claim listings process by members of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.), has been a key contributor to the growth of C.A.R.’s California Listing Service, the nation’s first state-wide source of truth for rental market inventory, which has surpassed 500,000 rental listings since its October launch.
“I’ve hoped this was coming for a long time,” said Tampa-based REALTOR® and Rental Beast Pro customer Jason Jeremiah. “I’ve used Rental Beast to grow my rental business for over three years. Now that rentals are going out to Zumper, I know I can grow my base of renters and increase my pool of future buyers that already know me, like me, and trust me.”
This integration continues Rental Beast’s goal of simplifying the rental market for real estate sales professionals. “Rental Beast is committed to helping every REALTOR®, property manager, and MLS subscriber harness the power of the rental market,” says Ishay Grinberg, Rental Beast founder and CEO. “We’re proud to integrate the efficient and personalized service offered by Zumper within our platform. It provides a vital service to our clients and further positions Rental Beast as the only lead-to-lease-to-buy solution for real estate professionals.”
